A local of over 45 years, Ian has extensive experience in the timber and building industry. After working for his locally well-known father, Ernie Crowe, for 20 years, Ian Crowe Timbers was created. The business initially started dealing with the buying and selling of new and used buildings materials, then adding a sawmill into the works, specializing in natural edge slabs and custom cut cabinet timbers. Some of these custom cut timbers have been distributed locally and nationally, including well-known business Rydes Hotel Port Macquarie, and numerous high end apartment developments on Sydney Harbour. Ian has also reignited a new venture of demolishing, a passion developed through working with Ernie, which enables the business to recycle items and particularly timber products. Further, the business has attended a number of timber and home shows where Ian's first interest in tiny homes and cabins begun. It was here he decided to research into kit homes further, finding YZY Kit Homes. Ian is looking forward to working alongside YZY Kit Homes as the Mid North Coast distributor. With experience in renovating and building it seemed a natural progression to begin distributing and erecting the Scandinavian Kit Homes.
