I am native Japanese and experienced Japanese tutor (in both Japan and Australia six years), currently offering lessons to over 30 students every week in Illawarra. Otherwise, I come over your place for lesson (If it's far, such as in Shellharbour or Kiama, I take additional $10 per lesson as a traveling cost). The one-on-one lesson costs $30 per hour. I accept fee via bank transaction, as I often don't have change when students pay me in cash, and also it's easier for me to manage fees as I have about 30 students every week. It would be appreciated if you could pay fees before each lesson, but please let me know if you prefer cash, and we'll sign contract if you are happy about the first lesson and wish to continue.
