Welcome! Tomaree Tutoring offers a safe, convenient environment for students to learn in a modern air-conditioned office close to schools and transport at the Salamander Bay Shopping Centre. There is a second office in The Bower in Medowie. At Tomaree Tutoring we are focused on providing education support services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction in order to meet your expectations. Tomaree Tutoring is owned and operated by Judy Heather, a fully qualified teacher with over 17 years experience running successful tutoring centres. She is a member of the Australian Tutoring Association and a fully accredited tutor. PROGRAMS All students up to Year 8 have a FREE assessment and an individual program is constructed that focuses on their area of need. Years 9 to 12 work on a combination of revision programs as required along with current school tasks. The programs are planned and amended regularly to revise and learn new concepts and skills, gradually increasing a student's confidence and ability to tackle literacy and numeracy with a degree of independence. LESSONS Lessons run for one hour in small groups of 2 to 4 students and include a mixture of computer, written and sheet work, with tasks aimed at maintaining interest and activity. Lessons are reinforced through homework, which is an integral part of the program. Each child works on their own subject and individual program with plenty of one-to-one assistance and monitoring by fully qualified and experienced teachers.
