Southern Highlands Equine Centre offers a wide range of professional equine vet services in all areas of equine care for the exclusive care of horses. Our services include ambulatory, clinic and racetrack consultations; portable digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy and gastroscopy; a wide range of reproduction services; equine dentistry, vaccinations, freeze branding and emergency care to name just a few. Southern Highlands Equine Centre are members of the Equine Vets Australia (EVA) and the Australian Vets Association (AVA), both of which maintain high standards in veterinary practices across the country. We are also affiliated with Randwick Equine Specialists and Illawarra Equine Centre and provide the same high level of quality in 24/7 equine emergency services. Our travel free days and areas serviced include: •Goulburn Area Clients (Marulan, Tallong, Goulburn) Monday or Thursday. •Northern Clients (Mittagong to Picton) every Tuesday. •Local area (Berrima, Bowral, Moss Vale, Mittagong) every Wednesday. •Eastern Clients (Robertson Area) every Thursday •Southern Clients (Moss Vale to Paddy's River, Penrose, Bundanoon, Canyonleigh) every Friday. Pepper Tree Farm has been dedicated to the horse industry since its inception in 1996, established by Rob and Julie Vandyke, the farm is conveniently located in Cowra in the Central Slopes region of New South Wales. In the 90’s and 2000’s Pepper Tree Farm was developed by Rob & Julie into one of the leading Standardbred studs in Australasia, including shuttling world class sires from USA and breeding a number of Australian 2YO and 3YO of the Year champions and multi Group 1 winners. In 2015, the stud evolved further when their daughter, Dr. Brianna Vandyke BVBio/BVSc (Hons) returned home to establish the Pepper Tree Farm Equine Clinic on the stud site and expand the breeding program to include Thoroughbred clients. Currently under the guardianship of their daughter Dr. Brianna Vandyke, the farm is embarking on a very exciting development as it evolves further into becoming a bespoke Thoroughbred breeding enterprise, offering services such as agistment, breeding & reproductive services for mares, foaling, weaning & yearling prep.

Qualification: BSc(Hons), BVMS, PhD
Liz Bramley graduated from Murdoch University (Western Australia) in 1997 and worked for 2 years in mixed dairy practice in the Riverina where she met her husband Greg. Moving to Sydney for Greg's work, she worked in small animal practice and emergency practice at one of the leading specialist small animal hospitals. She then completed her PhD in Cattle Nutrition through the University of Sydney. Moving to Wingello on 200 acres in 2003, she started working again in mixed practice before relocating to Perth as a Production Animal Lecturer specialising in Cattle Medicine and Surgery, Nutrition and Veterinary Obstetrics at Murdoch University College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2014, the family came back to the farm at Wingello. Her 4 children attend local primary and high schools and are enjoying growing up in a lovely rural community. Liz has been working in mixed practice in the Southern Highlands before opening Cooinda Vet Hospital in December 2015.
Liz enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery of both small and large animals. She has a specific passion in the education of clients to better understand their animals needs and health problems. Liz is also a nutrition consultant to Production Animals and can provide advice on rations, drought feeding livestock and other general management issues.

Forbes Veterinary Clinic has a long established history of servicing the Forbes area. Dr Krista Jenkins bought the Forbes Veterinary Clinic in 1993, with Dr Patty Paul joining the Clinic & forming a partnership in 1998. There are currently 5 full time vets, 6 qualified veterinary nurses and 3 support staff. The Condobolin Clinic commenced operation in August of 2015, starting with one day a week to now 3 days a fortnight, depending on demand. Open from 9am – 4pm clients need to ring the Forbes Clinic to make appointments. The smallest animals we treat are mice, with the largest being camels & bulls.
