All the staff from the vet Brett to the nursing staff are incredibly caring, professional, have taken our bird and several dogs there, from compassionate end of life care to ongoing regular appointments. Highly recommend this practice, your pets are treated as individuals and so are there pet parent.

Coolum Veterinary Surgery provides specialist animal care services such as oncology, radiology, surgery and x-rays. In addition to health care, our Sunshine Coast vets offer puppy pre-school services and behaviour management. We have a hydrobath facility onsite to ensure a thorough but gentle clean of even the toughest and thickest dog hair. The Gentle Farewell wants to make your pet's passing as peaceful, personal and gentle as possible for both you and your pet, by offering pet euthanasia in the comfort and privacy of your own home on the Sunshine Coast. Dr Simonne is a highly qualified, very experienced Veterinary Surgeon offering Sunshine Coast Pet Euthanasia at your home. She personally will walk with you through you every step of the process with a gentle compassionate female touch. Your home is where you are also most comfortable to grieve with your choice of family and friends and fluffy family members. You will have the flexibility to choose where on your Sunshine Coast property you and your pet pet feel comfortable and at peace. You may also have a special idea such as being in the paddock watching the sunset, by candlelight, with favourite music or simply in the morning sun on the verandah. I have had family members sing their favourite childhood lullaby to their pet, family members play guitar to their pet and others have included interstate and international family members over FaceTime. It is your choice how to tailor your environment for your family. At such a sensitive time I think it important that you only need to speak to one person, the veterinary surgeon, from the first phone call, to the euthanasia. I am not affiliated with any corporates or franchises and you will never be diverted to any callcentres or expected to make online bookings with an unknown person. You will never have an unknown person you have never spoken to attending your home at such a vulnerable sensitive time.
