Malpara Florist is a Townsville based boutique florist with two studios throughout the city, which was first established in 1962. The business is family owned and operated by George and Anna Gianoulis who have successfully run the studios since 1995. Anna and George made the big decision to buy Malpara Florist in 1995, one week before Mother’s day. At the time, Malpara consisted of four studios around Townsville! The two of them both had no prior knowledge of floristry other than the love for gardening. George was originally a real estate auctioneer/agent and Anna was a book keeper. Needless to say, the first few months of owning the business was a huge learning curve. They have since become Townsville's leading florist. In 2017, the Gianoulis family celebrated Malpara’s 55 years of local floristry in Townsville!

I believe your wedding ceremony should be personal, reflecting your own individual thoughts, feelings and expressions of love and dedication to each other. I will assist you with all the legal requirements. I am able to submit your marriage for registration online. This means that your marriage will be registered within a day or two of your ceremony! I can also facilitate your application to receive a register copy of your Marriage Certificate online which is very convenient for you. Your wedding can be whatever you want it to be so I am very flexible and accommodating. I will offer as much service as you require for your wedding day to run smoothly and memorably, just the way you want it and in keeping with your circumstances and style of celebration. I have a range of packages with fees that are comparable to the registry office. It is wise to book your celebrant well in advance to secure the date and time you want. Couples must complete and lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with their celebrant at least a calendar month before the wedding date. I conduct other ceremonies such as Commitments, Renewal of Vows, Celebrations of Marriage, Anniversaries, Namings, Memorials and celebrations of special events.
