“I have had my cars cared for by Pete and Sue for around 25 years . My suzuki swift transmission at 140km dies. Pete says " take it to Torque Shift as it needs new transmission switches " .Torque shift tell me we will do a reconditioned transmission as there not basically messing around for 5.5k so l start getting second opinions . The dumbest move ever . I'm booked into Suzuki Swift to be looked at for $340.00 . Pete had already told me for free 😬. l take it to a local mechanic $160 to drive it 🤨 For transmission service $850 ,$50 dearer than Pete . changed the sensor switch which didnt need it . $1,400 total With a sorry we can't fix it . Pete new all this didn't need doing by the codes and a drive for free .Plus they all offered to put a reconditioned transmission in for around the 7k mark when there not transmission specialists instead of sending me to torque shift , transmission specialists .Pete is the best mechanic plus cheapest in the area after 25 years research .”
