Steve and Matt, together with Brooke and Renee - forming Atchison and Hicks Construction are going to be leaders in this industry. Why? Well, I was losing money trying to run a cafe, and had to immediately change the use of the premises to an apartment. Not knowing how to do this, I was recommended to call Steve and Matt. Not only did they visit that same day, they set a whole timetable for me including all their recommended contacts for Council, insurance, trades, retails shops and interior designer. Their quote was very fair, not too cheap and not too high - a win win for us both. They then project managed the entire works. Their dedication is from the heart, they genuinely care. They go over and above, meeting tight deadlines with first class quality. Never once did they blame anyone for the inevitable delays or setbacks, they just solved every challenge professionally and with a passion for their work. I wish I had another project for the team as they deserve to be recognised for the first class quality of work and customer service they provide in a tough industry. I had purchased a home that needed extensive remodeling. In fact it was so dilapidated that most people though I would knock down and rebuild. I had a lengthy list of specific wants and desires, without any real knowledge of how to make my dream a reality. After extensive research and many discussions with a variety of builders, I engaged Jason to turn my dream into a reality. From our initial meeting I was impressed with his attention to detail, quality of workmanship and organisational skills. Throughout the process no request was too menial or frivolous. The level of customer service displayed by Jason was outstanding. He was always willing to meet and discuss any changes or answer my questions. The project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. Even my neighbours were impressed with the final outcome and to this day I am still given complements on how it looks and who the builder was. To say I'm delighted with his work in an understatement.
