First established in 1892, rebuilt in 1897 & 1936 after fires burnt the first two versions to the ground, the 1936 rebuild is the Great Northern you see today. The “front bar” is a perfect example of a proper, old Australian Hotel Bar, rich with character and great place to have a beer and watch some live sport. Several renovations through the years has given us the current layout, including the back room which was added in 1994.
