About
Our mission at the time of producing our first vintage in 1998 was to showcase the region’s capabilities, unique conditions, and history. Positioning ourselves as a small boutique winery in a region with an industry stigma to boot and large scale neighbours – we were often called crazy. On top of being the tiny winery in a region of giants, we designed and built a cellar door set in our vineyards for tourists and visitors to experience our Yarran way of life, connecting our story to our home. In a region that barely saw a wine tourist – again we we’re called crazy. Today we can confirm we are a little crazy but continue to strive for quality, approachability, and regional recognition with each vintage.

Very pleasant fancy lunch of food in shareable form. Delicious fried chicken, tender sirloin with turnip and we tried one of each dessert. All were yum but the orchard sorbet on raw fennel was a revelation. Bucolic views of grazing Belted Galloway cows and parrots in the trees added to the experience.
