From the initial enquires about funerals, I found this company extremely professional. Kain was the person we dealt with, returning our calls promptly answering any questions we asked. I cannot speak highly enough of A GENTLE TOUCH. They definitely lived up to their name. All our requests were carried out with kindness and compassion making our day so very special. Thank you everyone for the great effort, especially Kain and Jane Donnelly the celebrant

From start to finish, Kain from A Gentle Touch funerals was a delight to deal with. Their friendly establishment was beautiful and one could really see they try to give everything a personal touch. The staff appeared to enjoy working there as well. I came across A Gentle Touch when I was trying to find a beautiful casket for Mum. and I found it along with A Gentle Touch. I had heard that another major brand funeral service was quite incompetent with the service provided for one of my relatives and it was quite expensive, so I thought I would go a different way, and I'm so glad I did. Mum's service was lovely from start to finish. I know she would have approved. It was easy communicating my requests for the kind of funeral service I wanted including a slideshow with videos and music. It was also livestreamed for those who could not attend. If any problems arose, it was dealt with competently and with a good spirit. They are diversity friendly. I would highly recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I contact the Doctor, Coroner or the Funeral Director?

In every case, leave all of the arrangements to the funeral director because he or she will have the correct contacts. Family getting involved will not assist the process. In the case of a coronial matter, it is not unusual for the forensic’s social worker to contact the family.

Do I need to contact the coroner for release?

Once again leave everything to your funeral director.
