A1 Boarding Kennels & Cattery is located on 5 acres in Darwin's tropical rural area and is Darwin's only locally owned and operated complete pet-care service for your pets! We offer a full pet care service, so you have peace of mind while away from your furry, feathered or scaly friend. We have an emergency vet available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and ensure all pets eat the same food that they have at home. Our kennels are extremely clean, fully ventilated and kept nice and cool. With our wide range of quality facilities, we can look after dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, reptiles and chickens. We also provide health checks, large run areas for dogs, pet transport services and convenient crate hire services. A 1 is the best kennels in Darwin. My dogs are always well cared for and get very excited when i take them there. Dogs love Dan and Christina. My dogs can jump and climb very well so it is always of great peace of mind to know i can leave them in a safe secure place

We have been leaving our furkids here when we go away and are very comfortable with the care and attention they receive. Both come back clean, well fed and happy. Zeus has never been left in a kennel before I started leaving him here and despite some initial anxiety on my part I am glad to say I now trust that he will be well looked after and if anything happens he will receive prompt attention. We highly recommend

We have left our dogs with these guys on numerous occasions over the years and i can say without a doubt that they're the best in Darwin. Our Shepherds always come back to us clean, well fed, happy, shiny coat and the owners are consistently friendly and go out of their way to ensure every need is met. Highly recommended!!!!

I am very satisfied with the services provided by Daniel and Christina for my male GS. He gets excited when he knows he is going for a holiday to Daniel and Christina's place, it's funny to watch. I certainly have peace of mind when i leave him there and recommend the kennel, thoroughly.

Left my dog for a week to go interstate to a funeral. Pick him up and he was skin and bones. Rang owner and just raved about using the best food. If there was attention to the animals, ribs and backbone would have been obvious, re lack of food amount. As for the website, the pictures are from Alice in Wonderland, re the winding road into the trees and greenery. Not a blade of grass on site. The pen yards are a dust bowl, but sheltered by trees. There was a blue clam shell in there, with dust in it, nothing like the picture of the dog with water and grass. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I hope I can add before and after pictures for all to see.

We boarded our 2 dogs at these kennels. They were place in a family pen which we were pleased with. But when we picked our furkids up, unknown to us, one of our dogs had chronic runny poo. We rang the staff and they said, "Oops, sorry, we forgot to tell you. He has had it for 3 days"!!!!!!! It took a week for him to come good. I am not happy. Won't be going back.

Was very comfortable viewing the A1 Boarding kennels & Cattery i could see they go to a lot of effort in taking care of our pets, they have everything they could possibly ask for, plenty of room to run and other mates to play with within the same size of my dog. Had great piece of mind dropping my baby off here and was also affordable during our time away.
