It isn't often you will recommend a mechanics shop but A1 is definitely the exception. Being a tourist passing through and work on your car needs to be done you can only hope the correct thing will be done and it won't cost you a huge amount. I found that here, I had accepted a reasonable quote and when it was time to pay I was charged $80 less than the usual. They are friendly, fast and even ring to tell you the job is done. I walked out very happy. Give them a go.

I am new to the area, after reading the reviews I went to A1 Mechanical to help diagnose the problem with my car. They were really helpful and talked and even showed me what was happening with my car. I was really impressed with the knowledge and effort they put in - they emailed me a quote after which I phoned to book in. The mechanic said he would have to get back to me when the parts were available. Over a week later I'm still waiting on that phone call. I was really pleased with the service up to that point and if they were struggling to get the parts or couldn't fit me in or simply didn't want to do the work then a simple phone call is all it would have taken. I have now taken my custom elsewhere.

Hi Roxanne, Sorry you have had this experience. I have looked up your invoice and quote and I cannot see how this has happened. I'm very sorry but all I can assume is that it's one of those very rare "slip through the cracks" occurrence. Please accept our sincerest apologies.

Always a top service and good experience going through A1 Mechanical, they are very professional and have my car running like a dream with no hassles. Their servicing is very affordable. Highly recommend their workshop to all!
