In the 1960s, ACO pioneered the modular drainage channel and developed the use of polymer concrete for drainage products. ACO has since globally expanded throughout Europe, The Americas, Asia and Australasia with subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities in over forty countries and over 4,800 employees worldwide. ACO Pty Ltd is the Australian ACO company. ACO offers an extensive range of products to suit various applications such as internal drainage, stormwater drainage, cable and ducting systems as well as other products for niche applications. Despite ACO's global presence, ACO is committed to local thinking. Many of the products sold by ACO are designed and manufactured in Australia to suit Australian requirements, customer needs and construction trends. The headquarters of ACO Pty Ltd is based in Emu Plains, Sydney and has offices and warehouses around Australia, South East Asia and the South Pacific to provide local support on matters ranging from product selection, specification and installation.
