Active Physiotherapy Katherine has been providing physiotherapy for the Katherine region, surrounding communities and travellers alike for many years now. We are conveniently located in town an Katherine Terrace in a newly equipped, clean and safe clinic with access to all facilities enabling a better approach to rehabilitation. We provide physiotherapy for private patients- with or without private health fund, workers compensation/insurance, Department of Veteran affairs (DVA), Medicare - EPC with doctor's referral for chronic conditions, but also for the local hospital if required and the local aged care facilities. We are preferred provider for Pre-Employment Assessments and Functional Capacity Evaluations for a number of agencies. We have also established outreach services on a weekly basis to communities without physiotherapy services. In addition to providing physiotherapy to patients we also open our doors to physiotherapy students while they study to become physiotherapists. We pride ourselves to provide the highest standard of therapy and care for all patients in a safe environment.
