About Adept Driver Training

Locally owned and operated, Adept Driver Training is based on the NSW northern coast and offers quality driving lessons with a highly experienced driving instructor with over 20 years training students at both a learner and advanced driver levels. We're accredited with the Roads and Maritime Services and the Transport Industries Skills Centre. In 2016 our student pass mark on the first attempt was over 80%. Adept provides an 'all encompassing approach' to learner driving that includes: A very high emphasis on safety, Smooth driving techniques, Money savings tips (regarding both the vehicle, and the students driving skills) A brief overview of the ramifications of dangerous driving (Police, Courts, road rage and insurance)

Rod is a wealth of knowledge about driving and is committed to ensuring drivers learn safe driving skills. He went out of his way to fit us in and packed a lot of information into the lesson.

We have had recently very unpleasant experience with this company recently opening in the area. After having booked several lessons upfront. Only one of which was used. The driving instructor was away for a brief period. We were advised on his return he would call to re book. However after not hearing from him. We made several attempts to contact. Understanding he was busy we asked for refund for remaining sessions. His reply E mail was beyond rude. He attacked the business we worked at. Insulted us personally, name called and was beyond unprofessional. After then enquiring at other companies in the area , as well as friends In region , we discovered he already has extremely bad reputation for his customer handling, financial handling and people skills overall. We were so shocked about his reply E mails after simply asking for money back for lessons he wasn't able to do after he hadn't replied himself to us. I cannot strongly recommend enough to not use this company.

I have no idea who "Carmen W" is. Every other reviewer on this site has used their full name. I have never spoken to or met this person so all I can say is this is a ficticious review and by the wording of that review, it was probably posted by a competitor. I'll rely on all the other reviews on this and every other site I have reviews on. They're all 5 star!

Rod is an amazing teacher. He is calm and patient. I have attended few driving classes by other instructors and by far his skills in teaching surpasses them all. Rod ensures that you not only pass the driving test but also are a safe driver by the end of it all. I highly recommend Rod and wish him all the best. Thank you for helping me get past my nervousness and be a safe driver. Sincerely Merlin

Lili says Rod's passion for teaching makes him very easy to get along with, plus his bunch of jokes makes the whole training 10x more enjoyable.
