Drove 11 hours from Maleny to do a job for a friend who had checked out a villa for us to stay in for 4 nights. The villa we were given was not the one he was shown. The villa 134, which we were given to stay in had been washed down with strong bleach in an attempt to clean off the mould from the ceiling, the fumes were still strong when we arrived, the fan had a bent blade which made a constant noise when on, the shower rose wouldn’t stop dripping, the fridge, when the power cut in was over 70 decibels (same as my husband’s motorcycle when running) and the double bed had a hole in the mattress the size of a basketball with broken springs! Did we get a good night’s sleep? Absolutely not! I can not believe that management allowed the villa to be let out in such bad condition. We checked out the next morning and found somewhere else. To the credit of the admin lady we got a full refund. If you choose to stay here, check the room first and ensure that you are happy with what you’re given
