I strongly urge anyone considering this company to be cautious and it’s very important to consider this review when deciding whether to trust ARA Engine Reconditioning with your car and money. I recently had my car's engine rebuilt by ARA Engine Reconditioning in December 2024, followed by a routine service in January 2025, which we did specifically to uphold the warranty. After the service, a week later, whilst driving the car along the highway, it lost power, smoke was coming out from under the hood and caught fire, rendering the car irreparably damaged.
While I was unable to determine the exact cause of the fire due to the extent of the damage, I want to note that I had driven this car without issue for seven years prior to this event. After reaching out to ARA, as I was not able to obtain written evidence, they have stated that they are not liable for any compensation or responsibility related to the incident.
