During the heating cycle, a white mist is expelled from the outside fans?

During winter, most air conditioners defrost when the outdoor temperature is below 6°C. This mist is normal, it is only warm water vapour being expelled.

Can I switch my airconditioner off at the powerpoint or at the fuse box?

It is OK to turn the power off, especially if you are away for long periods of time. Most units have a low wattage crankcase heater that keeps the compressor warm. If the compressor is cold, damage can occur at start up. If you turn off your air conditioner at the power point or fuse box, it must be turned on at least 12 hours before use.

Waited for two weeks then on the night before scheduled service they said they had to reschedule for 10 more days. Hopeless! This explains the low star rating.

WARNING: By Far the Worst Daikin Dealer in Australia. Dangerous Electrical install and major damage to our property/brickwork (..even the yard drain was damaged) after installing 2x Daikin Air Conditioners. We regret spending almost $6k with Attack Air...Only Daikin dealer we have ever had a problem with in 20 years !! If you value/love your home - use another Daikin Dealer.

Attack air installed an air conditioner that floode the house 2 weeks later. On further investigation, the installation didn't meet Australian standards and had bare wiring in the roof cavity. Attack air denied any wrong doing, until our insurance company found them at fault.

We had an air con installed by Atack. We had rain 2 weeks later and it flooded 2 bedrooms because of the way they installed the air con. They had no compassion and did not want anything to do with the problem. Terrible customer service.

As previously advised we cannot instruct you what to do regarding your claim. We have advised you to take instructions with your insurance company in this regard and this is what you should do. To make false statements here and to misrepresent our actions in this regard is not appropriate. The unit won't switch on the green (or red) operation lamp is flashing?

Go to the switchboard and turn off air conditioning unit for 30 seconds, and turn back on. Try to turn air conditioning unit back on inside. If it starts up and no light flashes, all good. If it starts up and light flashes again, or doesn’t start up then please call Atack Air Conditioning for further instruction.
