Athena Banks

Athena is a fully qualified practicing counsellor (Bachelor of Counselling) who is passionate about helping individuals to navigate difficult and sometimes overwhelming daily life events and stress. Each session is focused on the goals of the client while empowering them to build upon their strengths and values. Athena has experience in engaging with a diverse range of clients who are going through life’s challenges which may include but is not limited to: stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, personal growth, relationship issues, transitions in life, caring for others, end of life, illness, interpersonal and emotional issues. Athena works with evidence – based interventions and a holistic lens. Athena also has experience in mindfulness which may assist clients on their journey.
