AusHomes from Brisbane are my builder who refuse to finish my build. They insist it's reached practical completion & are demanding final payment of over $100K! AusHomes have been difficult to deal with for a lot of the build. The build still has some major defects and safety issues preventing it being safe to live in. They have piled dirt and gravel about 1 meter high between an external wall and a retaining wall with no drainage which voids the termite warranty and encourages water into the house. The slab has a crack that goes from the top to bottom. The build is meant to be fully landscaped but a lot of the yard is bare dirt & not turfed as per the plans. There is a huge tree stump and a 2 to 3 meter drop off in the backyard that is not fenced off. There are several other issues with the build. AusHomes have refused to do any more work.
