In the height of the berry season the berry "specialist" has no berries available at ALL for days--at least 3 consecutive days. Big sign on door in the middle of the week stating, that berries will be available on Sunday from 10am. Sunday 11:30 am only 2 trays trays left, 1/2 kg each--with very tiny berries. They also resell strawberries from other local farms. This begs the question--WHAT MAKES THIS BUSINESS A "SPECIALIST" IN THEIR FIELD"?? WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BERRIES?? They can not claim bad weather or any other outside circumstances.
This city will forever sorely miss the previous business that closed down a few years ago in the Bargara area. Lovely, polite, decent owners with the most beautiful strawberries ever.
So I quess will put a stop to driving out to Bargara for a huge big nothing. It's back to the Shalom markets, where at least we can count on berries being available in the season.
