Lovely shop, very lovely and helpful counter staff. Have gotten lots of items from there. Beautiful fresh flowers, trees, bushes, stock feed, chook food, stock supplies etc. etc. I am all for shopping local and would prefer to go there any day over driving all the way to Bundaberg, BUT the owner/manager is the rudest person ever. This is the second time I have had a more than negative encounter with this awful woman. My advice, never try to exchange (or return if an exchange is not possible because the item you are looking for is not available) and never give feedback that is not positive, even if you ask for no refund or anything else. Hope she treats her great staff better than her customers. We have owned several businesses ourselves in hospitality and building industry and I would never ever speak to a customer the way I was spoken to today and trust me, you get some "doosies" in hospitality.....
Sorry you feel this way. Yes, we have wonderful staff at Barnyard that go out of their way to give great service to our customers. It is very rarely we have trouble with our customers as everyone is treated with mutual respect. Regards, Maryann.
