MJ and Steve were amazing great service happy and smiley and funny honestly the best service I’ve ever had from this place. And the chef John the food was great Thankyou after a hard day it’s what I needed and you didn’t disappoint.

Friendly staff, great selection of drinks( especially whiskies and rums) food is awesome.

Absolutely beautiful meal. Staff were very helpful, friendly and Anna was exceptional!!!! Highly recommend.

Had our works xmas party recently booked tables for 50 people , Mel who organised it all was amazing with no bother of anything I asked , Would highly recommend for any function or just sitting outside The one thing that would be amazing would be live entertainment weekends this surely would cover it all 100% Thank you again was a great nite had by all Deb

Yesterday 15 july 2022 we had lunch another couple and would rate the food as excellent and the service was very friendly by all the staff and would recommend the venue as a great place to Dine..

As a senior citizen I recall the days of "customer service" - but such a policy fails to register anymore at the Bay Tavern. After booking for a small group we found, upon arrival, that a personal welcome and menus no longer exist and that we were required to use technology via a personal smart phone in order to do what one would normally expect a staff member to carry out. This practice failed to inspire any of us so, after informing a staff member, who didn't care one way or another, we decided to leave and took our business elsewhere. If the genius who devised this concept believes it saves money on staff, he/she needs a rethink. The demographics of Hervey Bay - Australia's greatest retirement village - should ring some sort of bell. When they do get an opportunity to spoil themselves the over 60's want customer service as well as good food and you have essentially ostracized that group. Is that the real intention? We won't be back - but that probably doesn't bother you..

This place serves the very worse food I have eaten. Mouldy bun and flavourless chips just to start with.

Long wait, terrible food all in a too noisy setting. Staff didn't seem to care. Do not recommend.

Wow what a fantastic time . Gavin & all the staff were so happy and friendly making the atmosphere very relaxing. Food delicious. Definitely going back. Thanks everyone

Arrived @ 11am signed in (easy). A group of 6 directed to our tables. We were seated given our menus. We ordered about 12 pm after a drink or 2. We had between us 2 steak meals 2 fish meals and 2 seniors meals. Service was fantastic. Thank you Bay Central.
