Thank you, Bear. You’re a legend to us. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough for their friendly, efficient, and excellent service. Bear’s Mechanical is excellent for all your mechanical service needs. We had a little hiccup whilst travelling through Mount Isa and they went above and beyond to fix it. This is the best service anyone could hope for. Bear, the owner, is fantastic, very friendly, and welcoming. He is the epitome of country town hospitality.

It’s so refreshing that you can take your car to a mechanic and know you won’t get ripped off. He is the best mechanic in North QLD because he treats all his customers as friends. If he thought he had overcharged you by even $1, he wouldn’t be able to sleep that night.

They offer great and reliable service at Bears Mechanical. I dropped off our camper early with a suspected wheel bearing problem. By lunch, they phoned saying that everything was checked with no fault found. There was no charge and we went our way safely.

The wiring on my wheel speed sensor was chewed apart by my dog. The reception at the Toyota dealership in town said they could not book my car in for another month. When I called Bears Mechanical, they were able to get my car in on the same day. Their brilliant service team repaired the fault for a fraction of the cost.
