Well I read the reviews and thought wow 5 star must be good food, it was like eating hospital food, the vegetables weren’t fresh, frozen, steak was grisly, lasagne was like it was bought from Cole’s. My wine was a cheap $5 bucks wolf blass bottle but cost me heaps more for a class. We are on holidays and always read reviews , but these reviews were so wrong. Sorry but not happy with the food, but very friendly staff. Hotel of regrets.

The ambience in this small, quaint and family-friendly pub is wonderful, it has an old-world charm. The food is also beautifully cooked and delicious. Plus, the staff are friendly!

This great pub serves top food that's very well-priced. Their selection of craft beer is also good, and it changes!

The atmosphere is unique, it's amazing. One of the Australian pub life's last few bastions, not only in The Gong, but maybe in the country. Plus, they serve great food and the bar staff are amazing.
