I would stay away from these guys. While they are average as plumbers, their costing model and business practices appeared to me to be underhanded and not what you would expect. Everything was done on the guys phone and I never received any documents. You aren’t given time to read what you sign and they over charge. Be very wary

I live in Pacific Pines and Jack from Blackjade plumbing did such a great job, he was on time and so friendly, he went through everything with me beforehand, left the bathroom nice and tidy. I will recommend Jack to my friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Needed a plumber called blackjade through google. Had to pay $65 up front over phone and wait 2 days for plumber. I had a leak in my pipe from meter to house, I had dug around and found the leak which was quite evident. In the past I would have fixed myself with a $20 joiner but did not have time. Blackhade plumber Barton arrived looked at leak and worked a price on his iPad showing me pricing of $285 to dig hole and $300 odd dollars to repair. Plus the $65 they had already taken. As I had to go for an urgent appointment I reluctantly agreed and left for my wife to pay. Later I really thought about the pricing and knew I was totally ripped off big time. Less than 2 hrs work and a $20 part for over $600 was a rip off. If only I had time to discuss the price. Also I believe the $65 upfront is part of a con to commit to using them or you lose the $65. I would strongly suggest not to use this company, and do not pay a fee up front.

Last year Barton replaced an inlet valve in the ensuite toilet. 2 days ago same problem occurred in a 2nd toilet. Took a photo of the inlet valve Barton replaced and showed it to the local Plumbing supply shop. Was given the exact same valve and it cost $23.46 Instructions were given on how to replace the new valve. It was easy and took approx. 25 mins. What a rip off merchant Barton is. He should be ashamed of himself charging such a high amount. He didn't have to go out of his way either as he had another job in the area. Stay away from this business unless you have deep pockets.

Barton is a complete rip off. Don't use this business!! I was charged around $2,000 for something that my builder has since told me should have only cost around $800. What's worse, he fed me a complete lie about what needed to be done to make it sound more time consuming/difficult than what it was. As a woman, I feel I've been taken advantage of. Very untrustworthy business. Do yourself a favour and use a different plumber.

This man is a cowboy not a plumber! Couldn’t even instal a new valve on my hot water system. The part was $150 & he charged me $585 and it took 20mins. He didn’t pressurise the valve and so I had no hot water over Christmas/New year. Had to pay another plumber $200 to fix up his incompetence. So a $150 part and $650 to instal it! Avoid him like COVID especially if you are a single woman

Last year I dealt with Blackjade Plumbing. I was told by the City Council that our property had a large leak and required checking. I happened to randomly pick Blackjade plumbing and so happy with the result. They popped over in between jobs and confirmed there was a leak- I came back first thing next day and isolated it and fixed it in an hour. Very professional and courteous staff. I thought I might be paying a high price but not at all- very reasonable too. I couldn't recommend this company high enough. Will be using them again in the future.
