We have been so impressed with Bowen Pet Motel and the care shown to all of the animals. The facility is very secure and each pet is known and loved whilst in Peter and Joanne’s care. They were easily contactable in business hours and always very friendly, helpful, and professional. This has been the best kennel experience and we highly recommend them to all we speak to! I would not hesitate to trust them with my babies again.

The new owners are proud of the improvements to the physical conditions of the pens, have daily runs for the dogs and the care of my dogs last week was amazing. I called out of hours and received the utmost courtesy and care in letting me know how things were going. All the best with the business-you deserve lots of accolades!

Highly recommend. Our fur babies seemed to enjoy their recent stay. The owners were super accomodating and it was evident they care deeply about looking after their guests. Our babies will definitely be staying again in the future

Rude, uncooperative. Can’t even deal with a 22 month old Labrador puppy. Who never barks & lives for 4 months of the year in a caravan park. Accused of barking all night by owners , considering there are approximately 30 dogs, difficult to believe that ours was the only one barking. Our puppy was requested not to return. The owners are obviously not suited to be kennel owners. Don’t all dogs bark??? They also do not return phone calls.

We are sorry that you are disappointed with the service provided during your 22-month-old dog's stay at Bowen Pet Motel. You are correct in that “Oscar was requested not to return”. We fail to see how this could be interpreted as rude. Also, it is unclear as to where you are obtaining your information from as you did not attend the kennels to drop off or pick up Oscar. We had less than half the stated number of dogs in for the time that Oscar was with us. There are three witnesses and video surveillance of Oscars continual barking both day and night. Discussions with a local vet, points toward Oscar suffering severe anxiety due to being separated from you. This may explain why his behaviour is different when around you and in familiar surroundings. He displayed similar noisy behaviour during a previous one-day stay at our kennels and you were made aware of his behaviour on that occasion. Your statement that we don’t return call is incorrect. You called twice out of hours on Sunday. A return call was made to you the same afternoon during opening hours at 4.36 pm. This is in line with our policy to deal with all customer enquiries during opening hours. In the case of an emergency, we request customers to leave a message and we return emergency calls as soon as practical. Our records show all your calls being answered the same day.

My boy loved been there. Has a crush on Phil. Phil made sure he had his medication on time and taught me a way to give it to him with less stress. Highly recommend

Well what can I say except a awesome experience here at pet motel 🌟 perfect hosts for my dog , I will always come here and my dog likes coming here. Excellent in care service 👏 Recommend to any one who needs to put dogs into care 😊

We left our doggies here while we went to the islands and they had the best time. Jenny is fantastic and super accomodating, she even picked up our pups when she was in Airlie beach which was so helpful and much appreciated! We also loved getting photo updates of the boys while we were away. They were very well cared for and we were able to enjoy our time away knowing they were happy and safe. Definitely recommend to anyone needing a place for their precious pups to stay!

The very best. Send my 3 toy Poodles there for just over 4 weeks. They were washed 2 days before we picked them up. Would 200% use them again. The dogs 🐩 seem to love it there. Best price as well.

I can’t recommend Bowen Pet Motel highly enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars in my books. Excellent clean facility and the most affordable prices I have ever encounted. Jenny has always provided professional indivdual care to all my dogs, from the elderly to the boisterous bossyboots I have now. I have been using Bowen Pet Motel for 6 years now and have always had exceptional service and care of my dogs. Jenny is always felixable and accommodating as i travel a lot for work and most of it is arranged last minute. Thank you Jenny for your compassion and understanding. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you care for your animals, do yourself a favour and go to Bowen Pet Motel.

I have found Bowen Pet Motel & it's owner Jenny First Class in ever way. I have left two very different dogs (one small & fluffy, the other quite large) at these kennels on several occasions. I have always come back to clean, healthy & happy dogs. Jenny is very professional in the way she runs her business, but still careing to both dogs and their owners. I am currently in Brisbane, & my return flight has been cancelled. One phone call Jenny & she relieved one of the stress caused by this cancellation. She extended the stay of my dog, which is currently there, & happily accepted my brother's dog which I was supposed to look after as soon as I arrived home. Bowen Pet Hotel, is also one of the most affordable kennels I have used, but does not compromise on care or service. I would rate this business & owner/operator 100%. Job Well Done & Business Well Run. Congratulations Jenny 👍👍👍😎 🐶🐶

Id give this 0 stars if I could, one of the staff members were very rude to me and over charged me $30 then had the AUDACITY to to tell me that she needed to be places, my dogs got sores on him and is very scared for some unknown reason which is really weird because he's got a big beautiful personality and loves everyone except that one staff member

This review should not be taken seriously. Charlie should contact me and make his/ her feelings known to me in an effort to resolve the erroneous statement. PS. It is hard to find a Charlie in my records.!!!
