About Bowral Auto Care

Bowral Auto Care provides quality and cost-efficient motor mechanic repairs in Mittagong. We take pride in having specialist mechanics with more than 20 years of combined industry experience in auto service. Bowral Auto Care mechanics are experts in logbook servicing and vehicle inspections as well as in suspension, clutch and brake repairs, battery replacements, and air conditioning service. Our auto repairers, who have solid skills and work ethic, also specialise in tune-ups, fuel injection, engine reconditioning, and computer diagnosis. In caring for your car, we only use products from the best brands such as RYCO, Valvoline, Century, Repco, Bendix, and Monroe. To ensure quality care and repair, we use specialised equipment such as a Snap-on scanner, G-Scan scanner, and Blue Point air conditioning unit. Bowral Auto Care is also authorized to conduct LPG rego checks to help you secure an LPG certificate for your vehicle. We are also qualified to carry out ESafety Inspections and all mechanical repairs, and we hold a licence as an air conditioning service repairer. Scott and his team have always provided excellent and ethical service for my working ute, and also my little Yaris I use for economical commuting. I have been using Bowral Auto Care for 13 years after trying a couple of other mechanics.

Scott and his team at Bowral Auto Care have been our preferred mechanics for over 12 years. They nursed our old cars to their resting places and now service our new cars, both business and personal. Excellent service and fairly priced at all times.

Had a swivel hub seal kit fitted by bowral auto care and noticed a slight weep of oil from the hubs after about 2 weeks, I went back only to be told that it was just grease and should be expected. After about 6 months it had started to become a decent leak of diff oil and was in fact not "just grease". Also when I got the car back I checked the front diff oil and found it was old and obviously hadn't been replaced which it said it had been on the invoice. This is not acceptable and I do not recommend.

Travelling from Sydney the tyre was about to explode so we stopped at Bowral Auto Care where the staff mechanic fixed the problem in no time at all. Great service

While on holiday in Mittagong NSW, I ran into difficulties with my vehicle. It was a motor home, and so it was our transport and accommodation. Fortunately I was close to Bowral Auto Care. This is a very busy workshop but Luke, one of the mechanics, offered to have a look at it as soon as he could. Scott then got involved and after running some tests, gave me the bad news that my engine had seen better days. Scott did a lot of work researching the availability of engines, costs, timeframes, and providing me with options. Scott allowed me to keep the vehicle on site while I had to come back to Melbourne. If not for the support the team at Bowral Auto Care I would have been in real trouble 1000km from home. I would have no hesitation recommending Bowral Auto Care to anyone who is looking for a professional team to manage their vehicle maintenance and repairs. Their attitude and honesty was very reassuring, and at a time when I really needed some help. Even the workshop was spotlessly clean. These days individual care, attention, and consideration is not always as forthcoming as we would like, but my experience this company is built on it. Thanks to all at Bowral Auto Care M. P. Melbourne
