Breeze Bar

I feel obliged to contact you regarding the disgusting customer service we have experienced tonight in your bar. After ordering three food orders and being persuaded by a member if your staff to upgrade our cocktails to a large jug, we ate, drank and relaxed for an hour and a half. Mid way through our food a waiter asked if we could move our bags onto the floor and move our food and drinks over to one side of the table so that another couple could sit with us. Despite this being an unfair and strange request we agreed until the woman from the couple who were going to sit with us refused as she found it inappropriate and she did not want to ruin our meal. After our food was taken away we were told that the waiter 'assumed we needed the bill' so we agreed and paid it although felt we were being ushered out of the bar despite having half a jug of cocktail left. 5 minutes later the waiter then approached to ask us if we could leave because someone had to sit at our table (despite there being other tables available and everyone there had been there the same amount of time as us). We said we would leave when we finished our cocktails at which point the waiter became very rude and aggressive and we were forced to leave. I would appreciate your feedback on the above serious complaint before I take this further. I have just read on another review that the owner of this place is rude and arrogant, maybe the person we experienced tonight, he was called David. As an owner of two businesses myself I would be horrified if any of my customers had been treated the way we have been this evening. We are on holiday and this has completely ruined our time here. Great cocktails and food!! Wonderful friendly people :)

'THE' best place to go for a cocktail after a long day at work and even better to get dolled up and go for tapas and drinks with the crew. Must try the expresso martini! Food and drinks are 5 star and the staff are world class! Best service in the Whitsundays! Very trendy and great vibe about the place.

For anyone who's travelled the globe, qualified to make the appropriate comments based on skill & talent, profession and qualification and of course flair and creativity I'd say this bar is one not to miss. A truly international flair with personality, vivid imagination & culinary gusto. Why bother with mediocrity when you can have a unique experience. I've sent people there from all over the globe, from all walks of life. Verdict - bellissimo, tre-fantastic. It's one of a handful of choices that continues to please well beyond the experience.

The first post is wrong obviously an unhappy competitor. The owner is a gentlemen and a bloody nice bloke. The food is tasty and unique. This place has quickly become the hangout for classy locals. Not to be missed.

I travel to the Witsundays frequently for work. In my opinion this is the only place I come for great food, atmosphere and the service is attentive! Not once have I experienced a "off" night. Well done to staff!!

Very good restaurant! The owner and the staff is very friendly and courteous and the food was just amazing! We had different dishes with pasta, antipasta and salad and the food was plenty and delicious :-) I definitely come back! Thanks for this wonderful dinner!

We were served gorgeous tapas when it was late and nowhere else was open. Nothing was too much trouble and my credit card was returned to our apartment the next day when I inadvertently forgot I had left it behind the bar! The food was beautifully presented and tasty, the cocktails are varied and superb and we were made so welcome that we visited every night. Thank you David and the Breeze Bar for making our holiday so extra special in Airlie Beach

Absolutely love the Breeze Bar. This venue is just what Airlie Beach needs. Awesome cocktails, beautiful food, great service and Dave is such a great host. I would highly recommend it as one of the best venues in Airlie.

Visited Breeze Bar several times during my New Years trip to Airlie with a group of girlfriends. Staff were friendly, music was great, and food was fantastic. The prices were also very reasonable. We spent New Years here and had a prime view of the fireworks as we sipped cocktails by the pool while the band played popular tunes. I had a delicious lamb salad which was a huge portion, also tried a fish and chips? All were presented beautifully and tasted great. If I ever get back to Airlie I will definitely make a point of visiting again.

Fantastic service and staff always friendly. The owner is very welcoming and willing to please and makes sure you are having a great time. I had the special of the day Italian meatballs and pasta so yummy!!!! Will be back. Thanks guys, you are doing a great job!

The best smoked salmon bruschetta I have ever tasted, DELICIOUS! Finished the dining experience with Dolce & Gabanna cocktail as dessert! Perfect place to enjoy good food, good drinks and be able to chat without sticking to the floor! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Disgusting service. Food was cold and of poor quality. Wish we never went there. I'm a local and the owner doesn't care for repeat business. Is rude and arrogant. DO NOT EAT HERE.
