About Brownsugar Restaurant & Functions

Located on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Brownsugar offers one of the most picturesque and relaxing dining experiences. Our weddings and functions areas cater for up to 110 guests for a sit down function and up to 200 guests for a cocktail function and offer a beautiful lakeside setting to dine, entertain and enjoy your fabulous function. Open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and every night for dinner. Enjoy the unique lakeside dining experience or just come in and relax with coffee and cake with breath taking views.

Brilliant. The staff were wonderful and were especially friendly to my children. Easy to find and order and they make delicious food for adults and kids. Highly reccomended.

Spent a wonderful night here for the engagement party of a great friend. The food was totally fantastic, the venue was absolutely gorgeous and the Brownsugar team was courteous and provided tremendous service. I would highly recommend Brown Sugar for your function.

No one else in Newcastle could do better than the staff at Brown Sugar excellence and beyond, the most stunning back drop to any wedding the views are amazing and the food is just divine. Not overly big on the seating side 110 guests and up to 200 for cocktail event gorgeous location you won't be disappointed.

As soon as I saw Brown Sugar online I knew it was perfect for our wedding day, and it didn't disappoint. We dined there several times before the big day, and Michael, Sam and the team made the wedding planning process a dream! The day itself was perfect. Not only was the day a dream for us thanks to Michael and the team but our guests and bridal party couldn't stop praising the staff, the food, and the venue itself. Fantastic and can't recommend them all highly enough!
