Since that time we have been innovators in the local tyre industry. In 1974, Cairns Tyre Specialists was the first business in Australia to import BF Goodrich tyres from the U.S.A. The current Owner/Manager, Ross Sollitt Jnr has been part of the business for 45 years and Manager for 20 years. The knowledge Ross has accumulated is invaluable when helping you decide what is the best tyre for your vehicle and usage. Cairns Tyre Specialists is not a large national corporation that is locked into company policies and procedures. We can therefore be innovative and creative in what we can offer our customers. To this end we deal directly with the manufacturers of the major brands we stock and cut out the middle man – bringing good quality tyres to you at the best possible price. We also specialise in Generic brands. That is tyres that are made in name brand factories such as Michelin, Bridgestone and Continental, but with different brands printed on the side. This also helps us to bring the best prices to our customers without compromising on quality. With our location, opposite the Cairns Central Shopping Centre, we are perfectly located for our customers to drop their car off and go and have a free coffee on us or doing some shopping while our highly experienced team fit the best tyres for your vehicle.
