Camvet is a Laurieton veterinary clinic, providing quality pet care for your furry friends. We care for the health of your animals, including after hours service for emergency care and home visits for the Laurieton-Camden Haven region. Our qualified veterinarians provide a range of pet health care services, including regular consultations and check-ups, or pet nutrition advice. We take the time to discuss any health concerns you may have, as well as recommending any at-home care that could help your pet. Camvet provide vaccinations, desexing and microchipping services of cats and dogs. We can also conduct senior health checks on any pets aged over seven years, safeguarding your pet from any potential serious illnesses. If your pet's breath is getting a little smelly, it might be time to book them in for a dental check-up. Camvet carry out a range of dental care services, including the removal of plaque and calculus build-up, tooth extraction and checking for inflamed gums. Some of our more complex procedures include soft tissue surgery and care for animals suffering from orthopaedic trauma. We will assess the problem and advise you whether your pet needs additional treatment. Our Laurieton veterinary clinic also has a range of preventative health treatments to keep fleas, ticks and heartworm at bay. After relocating from Sydney & having the same Vet for 15years it was hard to know where to go if we needed a vet. Our dog instantly liked Gavin which made the decision easy, he appreciates I am a "pet parent" & has been exceptional every time we have needed to visit. Kym was the same when we were faced with a paralysis tick. Thank you guys for being our local vet.

Dr Gavin is by far the most caring vet I have encountered in years. I have recently relocated from Sydney and no vet I have been to has matched up to his compassion towards my pets. I travel over an hour to see Dr Gavin but I am happy to - I definitely will not be going anywhere else. Highest of recommendations.

Our family has used Camvet for over 5 yrs with our pets., dog,cats and a rabbit. All the staff are always helpful, accommodating and caring. The vets Gavin and Kim are both extremely capable,caring professionals who always do their best with great empathy. I highly recommend them and am very grateful that we have them here.

Since emigrating to this wonderful part of the world 15 years ago we have used Gavin and the team to look after our much loved cats (three of which we brought with us from the UK at the time). Even though we now live in Port Macquarie we still use Gavin & Kim when our cats need attention. I am astonished to read the negative review and I too totally disagree with it's content. I would not hesitate in recommending the services of Camvet and have done so many times, keep up the good work guys !

I'm totally the opposite than the other review, I had only heard great things of this vet from locals and after my past vet finally shut up shop from Kew I had no real local alternative other than to try these guys and I thought the lady on the front desk was very helpful and then a week or two later I had to call up at 7am on a Saturday (this morning) for an emergency to have my old dog put down. It was very traumatic for me, but Gavin came straight out and put Rosie to sleep. It was what I wanted and it was the best option for her. I'm sorry the other Shannon had a bad time with their dog at CamVet, but my experiences so far have been nothing but praise for them. Thank you Gavin and team. 5 stars.

If you love your pet DO NOT take your pet here. They butchered my dog, gave her back to me in a terrible state, and to top it off, the rude receptionist is a disgrace to the veterinary surgery.
