Peter and Kim are absolutely amazing people. They made us feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to get us a caravan so we could take our family on a mini getaway. From answering my million questions Kim always had answers. Literally a dream to go through and will definitely be telling everyone about the great service and amazing caravans you have for hire. The cleanliness and everything that comes ready to go was absolutely awesome. Clothes and food was all we packed and they supplied the rest. Doesn't get better then that. And the DVD players in the bunks that just topped it off with the kids. Thank you again Peter and Kim you made us have a great time away with our hired home away from home.

Our family hired from Caravan Hire Mackay in September holidays 2017. An epic trip from Moranbah to Darwin over 20 days towing the very comfortable, classy 5 berth Family Flair with our 4 children. Being novice caravan users, our first experience of towing a van 7,000 kilometers into unknown territory was made extremely pleasant and satisfying as Kim and Pete ensure that every necessary item was provided from pegs to hang our washing out, to cups, dishes, cutlery, tv (which honestly we didn't have much time to watch but it was still a welcome addition!) I especially loved the convenience of the good sized shower, toilet and vanity. The main bed was lovely and was like sleeping on a cloud, the air conditioner was much appreciated in the sweltering Darwin heat and was like an 'icebox on wheels!". My husband Al says it would be perfect for night shift as you don't hear a thing once you're asleep and the shades are up. Our amazing adventure was only possible because we could hire.

We hired the Royal Flair to accommodate 2 adults & two children. Kim told us we only needed to pack food & clothes & she was right. The van was equipped with everything we needed for a week long getaway. We particularly loved & made good use of the included BBQ. Thanks Peter & Kim for entrusting us with your beautiful van.

Great service, Kim and Peter are wonderful people and they are always available to help out with any queries. The Royal Flair family flair was awesome and large enough to fit two adults and four kids. Did a free camp at Uluru where temperature dropped to 2 degrees and it kept us pretty warm. Well priced and very affordable, will be recommending them to anyone who wants to give caravanning a go.

From my first contact over the phone, I knew we were going to have an amazing experience. Kim is very welcoming and very knowledgeable. We hired a 4 berth ensuite Royal Flair. The layout was awesome. So much storage, we actually had empty cupboards. 5 days camping was a luxury in this van! The ensuite is a good size. The water was hot and the drinking glasses the perfect size. I have three kids and our infant slept on the kitchen table bed in his cot and it still felt big. The bunks were long enough for me to sleep in. Everything but the micro fibre cloth to wipe the van down was included. We had our van delivered to us. Peter was early and ran us through everything in the van and showed us how to set up and pack down. He was thorough, took his time and answered all of our questions. We would happily recommend this company to all of our friends and family. Keep it up Kim and Peter! You are doing an amazing job.

All we can say is wow! Amazing service coupled with a luxurious caravan! Would certainly recommend and can't wait to plan our next adventure! They even managed to throw in good weather and unforgettable family memories—the caravan was comfortable, it was fitted out with everything you needed and more...it towed like a dream!

The Family Flair 5 berth caravan by Royal Flair is awesome! The separate shower and toilet was very roomy. Hot water was always hot. It had all the essentials plus more. Easy to tow. Our family will be hiring this van again and will be recommending Caravan Hire Mackay to all our friends and family. Nothing was too much trouble for Kim and Peter, Well done!

Recently hired the family flair for a trip out to Uluru. Had a fantastic time away and everything went well. A big thank you to Peter and Kim who were great to deal with and very helpful. We will definitely be back to hire again!
