Very disappointed, the last 3 times (with in the last year) I've been here, the gluten free fish has been so rubbery I've not been able to eat it, it literally can be bent in half and not break or even tare the crumbed batter, along with the gluten free calamari. This used to be my favourite place until new owners took over, not saying this is the reason the food hasn't been that great, but again I think I'll be looking for a different gluten free fish and chips store in the future.

We will definitely come back! We were blown away by the value of the meals when we ordered takeaway here for a Sunday night meal. They had proper parmigiana sauce on schnitzels, quality snack and salad ingredients and properly loaded chips instead of just the packet stuff.

This place is a two minute drive and they have great fish and chips, wedges and burgers. We have been regulars in this place for the last 3 yesterday!

I highly recommend everyone to get in here! I had to wait an extra 10 minutes during a Wednesday night as it was a rather busy night and they were down a staff member but it was well worth the wait!

Keep up the good work guys, well done! For 14 years, I've owned a fish and chip shop in New Zealand and this by far has to be the best fish and chips I've found from Brisbane to Mackay!

It is always great to walk here and be greeted with a friendly and fast response after getting their delicious burger after finishing school. This store honestly deserves more since they are really underrated.

I can't go past Carinya Takeaway! They have great menu options for both old and young people and most of their menu items have gluten free options. Rosie's Chicken is great and they have awesome desserts and cold drinks. The food here is always fresh and arrives fast!
