Our Tweed Coast mechanics specialise in servicing all vehicles makes and models, including logbook servicing of new vehicles. We take care of all your mechanical needs, including suspension, steering, brake and clutch repairs. We have a range of batteries in stock and can organise towing, tyres, mufflers, radiators and automatic transmission servicing. Carter Automotive can also help with your NSW registration inspections, offering e-safety checks (pink slips) and blue slip inspections for first time registration. Very disappointing. Thought these guys were great. No more. 1 star too much booked in early got car there early was there ALL day still incomplete. Sloppy unorganised.

The team at Carter Automotive are amazing. Very friendly, customer focused people. We came to them for a simple road check and a few issues arose. They were extremely efficient and ordered the parts and had us on our way within a few hours. Being under a time limit for rego transfer and being 2 hours drive away this was extremely appreciated especially in light of the fact that they may never get return business from us they treated us as if we were a long time customer. Every staff member was so friendland made us feel welcome. Thanks team! Amazing experience!

I have an awesome Mechanic. Honest, reliable, will always tell you exactly what it needs or doesn't and will tell you the cheapest most efficient remedy... Every year (in fact just yesterday) I drive 263.7 km, 3hour 5mins to get my annual roadworthy and/or service... I have taken my car to John Carter and the Carter Automotive team for the last 10 years. I won't go anywhere else, nor should you.

I am 19 and had to go and get a pink slip and service for the first time. The owner John was so friendly and made the feel comfortable. We parked at EzyParking whilst our car was being serviced at Carter Automotive. Sadly, the oil filter wasn't fitted correctly, however after we had a super friendly conversation with John I took it back (turned out to be a little adventure with my little one) to get it fixed. He really went over and beyond to get it sorted as soon as possible. The kind adminall-rounder lady even gave a ZooperDooper to my boy. Highly recommend.

I have 2 kids who are at uni in Qld and recently had to have pink slips done. The customer service received at Carter Automotive is great. They were very helpful. Highly recommended.
