We had the oyster chilli shots to start up a great night, while listening to Freedom Summers love gripping singing at the Charcoal Oven in Cullan Bay on Saturday night. Being a bit of a homemade foodie, if I go out, I want something that is something that I can't cook at home so I'm prepared to pay top dollar for a taste undiscovered. Next, Steamrail beer, almost like a shandy on steroids same gene as Little Creatures and a cool looking margarita. We shared the pork belly with glee over the crispiest delight and the sauce. Fortunately she was trying to lose some weight so I took one for the team. The seafood soup was next and tasty with just the right amount of seasoning and care taken with the ingredients. Then the grand finale I have been wanting an excuse to show off to my potential X wife, Mud crab served in a spicy subtle topping of love. Mud crab is my favourite Australia cruse and I've eaten definitely not enough of this stealth warrior delicately.
I would recommend Charcoal Oven if you are looking for a hot date or a business woe of the great flavours of Darwin.
