I'm house sitting in Pomona, a stranger to the area. The dishwasher hasn't worked for some time, and who wants to do Christmas without it?? So I called an appliance repair outfit in Tewantin but was told "we don't do Pomona" .....20 kilometers away?? Seriously?? So my second attempt was to CBP Appliance Repairs and I struck the jackpot Craig came a day earlier than expected and within an hour it was all done and dusted. No mess, no fuss....and fixed!! Thanks so much to Craig, one of the nicest tradies I've met.

Drying some clothes and could smell something burning so immediately I rang CBP to ask if I should be concerned. The lovely staff member I spoke to asked a series of questions and suggested I don't use it and to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He showed me all of the build up that had accumulated over the years and said I was lucky it didn't cause a fire. Left it with him for a service, he cleaned it up and is running like new. No more burning smell. Apparently we should get it serviced every 12mths or it becomes a fire risk. So many homes burn because of dryers, it really scared me. Thank goodness I don't walk out of the house with the dryer going and had the sense to call a professional. They did an amazing job and I am so glad I didn't need to buy a new dryer, or better yet a HOUSE!
