Terrible experience. Reception woman was incredibly rude. On arriving i was not even greeted but simply asked do you have an appointment and do you have a mask? I then say down and began entering my details on the laptop she handed me when I was told to put on my mask. At the time I was the only person in the waiting room and had been concentrating on the laptop. I saw she wasn't wearing a mask and asked politely why not. She then replied I don't need to explain to you in exempt. She then had what I can only describe as a hissy fit going to the door of the dentist Neil Liddle saying he is not wearing a mask. I was wearing a mask by this time and the dentist could see his staff member was overly agitated so he simply left the room saying masks a mandatory. I left shocked by the poor attitude and customer service. Beware this business has multiple poor reviews on Google and will make up lies in their replies. I know because they did it to mine.

The staff are always kind, courteous and helpful. When you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and a polite 'Hello, how are you?' from the young ladies on the counter. It's nice to feel that the dentist cares about how you are feeling and easily helps you to understand what they are doing with the procedures being done. A recommendation of this practice to friends and family is a give in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whats the difference between dentures and dental implants?

Dental implants are the permanent solution to a missing tooth. Dentures are removable teeth that are usually connected to a synthetic gum-like support, while dental implants are actually joined to the mouth permanently so that you can have a beautiful smile every second of the day, every day!

What causes cavities and how can I avoid them?

Cavities are caused by secretions made by bacteria on the teeth known as plaque. Plaque occurs from lack of dental hygiene or ineffective teeth brushing and flossing. You can protect yourself against plaque damage, tooth decay and cavities by brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing once before bed and visiting Charlestown Dental Centre at least twice a year.
