Chef Kim Oriental Restaurant

We went here 6 weeks or so ago,we were a party of 7 with little kids we had a fantastic meal the staff were attentive the food absolutely fantastic,and so much we even had extras to take home,this restaurant is the best Chinese food I've had on the coast, and I've tried several,and they are always lacking,do your self a flavour and head here for exceptional Chinese food ,100%

We visited Chef Kim Restaurant last week, hoping for a delightful oriental food but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. The service was quite disappointing. From the moment we entered, the staff seemed inattentive and indifferent. The food was the biggest letdown. We ordered couple of entrees and both were below expectations. The Seafood rolls were overly salty and lacked the authentic flavors we were anticipating. The garlic king prawns was cold and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Additionally, the portion sizes were quite small for the price charged. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The table we were seated at had not been properly cleaned, with leftover crumbs and sticky spots. Very unkept place. Dirty & filthy. Never going back to this place & certainly do not recommend.

I had to have a procedure at SCUH so stayed at Reed House.We ordered 4 dishes and it was the best Chinese food I’ve had in many years, everything was fresh and full of flavour, prices are affordable.We are going back again tonight , my whole family wanted more. A big thank you to the chef.. highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food with excellent service at a great value, always.
