About Cimed Aesthetics
At CIMED we take the time to listen to your wishes and understand what you would like to achieve. We do comprehensive assessments that allow us to advise on the best treatments for each individual client. We consider the practice of Cosmetic Medicine an art and we use our skills to achieve natural looking and optimum results. CIMED Aesthetics is a leading cosmetic clinic specialising in cosmetic services. We currently operate out of our primary practice at 368 King Street, Newcastle as well as a series of mobile venues around the greater Hunter and Sydney metropolitan areas. At CIMED Aesthetics in Newcastle we perform facial assessments and offer cosmetic and skin procedures to enhance facial features. Cosmetic procedures at CIMED are performed by a Cosmetic Qualified medical doctor in a safe and caring way. At CIMED we also provide Micro Skin Needling, a procedure to improve the skin’s texture, soften scars and smooth out lines and wrinkles. It is suitable for those who have scarring like acne scars and surgical scars as well as enlarged pores and fine lines on the face, neck, hands or any other part of the skin. This treatment induces collagen, a connective tissue the rejuvenates the skin. Please contact CIMED Aesthetics for further information.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are anti-wrinkle and sculpting procedures painful?
Treatments can be uncomfortable in sensitive areas and depending on client sensitivities. However, numbing cream is applied before treatments, and ice is applied to the area if required. CIMED uses ultra-thin needles similar to those used in acupuncture and the treatment techniques have been developed for minimal discomfort.
Will there be swelling post procedure? And how long does the swelling last?
The treatments into the skin can result in minimal swelling as this is the natural response for the body. Mild swelling can last a few hours and is usually resolved within a few days.
