About City Gates Fencing & Powdercoating

City Gates and Fencing have operated in Mackay for nearly 20 years. We are locally owned and operated. We have worked on many private and commercial properties throughout Mackay district and Whitsundays. At CGF, we custom make your Aluminium fence to suit your needs, whether it be for yard or pool fencing. We can supply only or do the installation for you. We also do balustrades, and manual and automatic gates. All fencing can be powdercoated a colour of your choosing from our wide selection of colours. Powder coated Aluminium screens are an economical and stylish way to achieve privacy, shade or simply to separate one area from another. We can do fixed slats or adjustable louvres. Come in to our show room to view your options. Glass fencing and balustrades are also available. Overall, my experience with Mackay City Gates and Fencing was terrible. I decided to replace my cyclone damaged aluminium fence with frameless glass. The advice given to me by MCG&F regarding pool fencing regulations was wrong, and I wasted significant time planning for something I didn't need (electrical earthing). They came twice to measure the fence, and still got it wrong. It took 6 weeks to get the fence installed after paying up front. When the installation day finally came, they brought a panel of the wrong size and left the pool unsecured (no gate and no temporary fence or barrier) before coming back week and a half later (I had to call to find out when they were coming, not even a courtesy call!). They left the glass dirty and grout stains on my newly concreted pool area. Then I found a chip in one of the brand new panels. They agreed to rectify the problem, but offered no apology or recompense for all the problems I encountered. Don't use this company!

The best fencers your going to get in town! Their work and service is second to none, very professional, loved their options, in love with our new maintenance free fence, and would recommend these guys to anyone !
