Arrived there at 4pm as arranged to assess a problem with an Im4 electric golf quad bike. Like driving into a junk yard. Workshop an absolute mess, empty beer cartons and rubbish all over. Unloaded my cart, started to discuss the issues and could not get any sense out of the proprietor, who sounded fine earlier during a phone inquiry. Required an allen key to access the motor, could not find one amongst the mess. Used multi grips on it. No diagnostic tool to test the Controller. Slurred speech, unsteady gait, and when asked admitted being on the booze. I bailed out of there, and in the process the proprietor insisted on helping. In doing so he grabbed the throttle on the bike, accelerated it into the rear of the trailer, and snapped the throttle handle. I had to insist that he leave me to deal with it. Finally got out of there albeit with a broken throttle. Nothing to recommend Colemans Golf Cars.
