Our home renovations were completed by Comfort Homes to such a high standard that we would recommend Ricky and his team to anyone wishing to build or renovate. He was easy to communicate with, combining our initial plans with his own innovative design ideas to achieve a successful outcome. Ricky showed professionalism with contractual agreements and communication with us from the initial quote through to the completion of the renovation. We were so impressed with Ricky’s workmanship, that we have recommended him to quite a few people and have had him back at our home working on another project!

Building a new home is a daunting task to take on, and whether it is your first home or, as in my case, your thirteenth, selecting the right Builder is critical. Right from when I bought my corner block, the challenge of the floor plan and roof design was evident, with boundary set-backs & building height restrictions. The advantage of Ricky building my home was that he was involved right from the design stage & was instrumental in making sure the unusual roof design came together & worked structurally & aesthetically, while complimenting the street. His direct involvement in all the construction from beginning to end made the experience a pleasure. Ricky kept me informed of the progress & made sure I was satisfied with each stage. He is really efficient with his scheduling & co-ordination of the construction & that meant my new home was completed on time, with no delays. The workmanship in my new home reflects Ricky’s commitment to being a high quality Builder who loves his work!

I have been involved professionally within the building industry for many years & when I moved to Bundaberg I was in the need of finding a good quality builder to build my new home. This is when I first had dealings with Ricky Paroz from Comfort Homes. Right from the start you could tell that the job was going to be of a very high standard, professionally managed & all our personal requirements in the build would be met. From start to finish, the whole process with Comfort Homes was easy, professional & all work completed was of the highest standard. After travelling in our caravan for 9 years we decided to base ourselves at Elliott Heads and build our beach-theme house on our block. We had no experience with builders in the Bundaberg area, but had specific ideas on what we required. After visiting a number of different display homes, we became increasingly frustrated. We found that most builders were only interested in modifying their existing designs and not listening to what we wanted including what our budget was. This all changed when we spoke to Ricky from Comfort Homes, who came highly recommended from our friends at Bargara, who had also used him to build their home. Ricky not only listened to us but put forward some additional suggestions that led to the most cost-effective build. From our original requirements and a rough sketch, he produced the perfect final plans. We were thrilled with the build cost, which was under our budget, and even more so when the home was completed well ahead of the contract time and NO extra hidden costs.I am sure the early completion is mainly due to Ricky's organisational skills and the quality of the tradesmen he uses. It is very rare that you will find a principal builder who is hands on, not only using the tools but personally overseeing the construction at every stage. Something else we were very impressed with was that Ricky personally maintained a very clean building site. The standard of construction and the enthusiasm of all the tradesman was of a high standard and their relationship was first class. They all worked well together and helped each other if required. Ricky was very flexible during the construction and followed up all phases to ensure the scheduled dates were adhered to. A special thanks also to Amanda who not only looked after all accounting issues but gave some very good design suggestions. If you are looking for a true custom builder rather than a project builder then we believe using Ricky and his team at Comfort Homes is the only choice you should make.

Absolutely love Comfort homes! If we ever had the opportunity to build with them again we would without hesitation. They have created our beautiful home to a high quality standard.
