Fiona also has over 10 years experience in private practice and was the sole owner operator of large successful speech pathology practice known as 'Talking in Steps' which is located in South West Sydney. Fiona relocated to the Newcastle area in 2012. Fiona had a large waiting list and many parents would often wait for her to see their child, often waiting more than 3 months. The practice was multi-disciplinary focused and was also known as The Autism Specialist Clinic. Fiona would be referred clients from all areas of Sydney, with some clients travelling as far as 3 hours one way. 'Communicate Connect Speech Pathology' is a reputable speech pathology practice with specialist skills in disability, paediatric (all areas of speech, language including autism, learning difficulties, social communication) to adult and more specifically complex dysphagia / swallowing disorders, meal time management plans, NDIS Commission regulations around swallowing and meal tome management. We are experienced in the assessment and of communication including adults with disability, alternative augmentative communication (AAC). We are set up in a homely yet professional office in the heart of Belmont CBD. Located near Advanced Hearing Care. We are a team of 9, each with our own skill set and area of experience.
