Best shop between Gunnedah & Sydney , love the plain & potato pies & always friendliest of service 🤗🤗

Been going there for years and the pies have always been brilliant until recently. I usually by cold pies 6 or so and take them home when I pass through Aberdeen, 2 visits ago I asked for Chicken and veg and cheese and bacon, when we started to heat and heat we discover we have plain minced beef curry and cheese mince and no bacon. Stopped again the other day and when I got home discovered the Chicken and veg I asked for were curried mince and no real evidence of cheese or bacon so obviously the girl that served me did not know the colour markings. This shop has been brilliant over the years but unfortunately its gone backwards. Thats it for me.

Had Crofts pies on Saturday. And the best pies I've had in a long time. Pastry was brilliant. Keep up the good work.

Hi CROFTers! I go from Newcastle to Tamworth every second month. I often stop at your shop EARLY in the morning for a hot snack. Love your sausage rolls. I haven't tried your PIES for some time. Foil trays - Bad idea, the bottoms were always soggy and under-cooked. Had to eat them upside down to stop the ass falling out of them. STeel Trays work much better. More CLEANING I realise, but a better, well-cooked product. Worth trying. If a thing is worth doing, its worth doing WELL. Your meat filling is great, just the pastry lets them down.
