Great work ethic. Hamish & Ryan fitted the roof restoration in between rain events and even completed the re-seal on a weekend. Thoroughly recommend these two young men. Well Done !!!

The job consisted of a full roof restoration which was completed in a timely manner and for which I paid a premium overinflated price for in April 2021. less then 12 months later issues became apparent and the ceiling in one section of the house began to show signs of mould and started to collapse. Obviously, there must be a leak from the roof that had been present for some time. I contacted Crossy's Roof Restorations and waited patiently for 3 months for this company to return and diagnose / repair the leak. Lots of excuses were given and repeated failures to respond to my calls. yes, I paid over $ 20,000 in cash. I am older single woman. No invoice and no comeback. I am a fool. I will now have to look elsewhere. This company is unreliable and unprofessional with poor ethics and no integrity. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I have attached pics from a few months back. It's looking a lot worse now and who knows how much more damage has occurred in the interim.

On the 8th of February 2021 I was asked to go to her house to have a look at the roof leaks. I found the entire roof in a very poor state and the Dutch gable was leaking all around the window frames and the cladding had started to rot away. It was clear that the roof and the house needed some real tlc and restorations works done. The house (inside) itself had vertical cracks in the walls that were big enough in some spots to place a nectarine in. These large cracks from foundational shifting do occur often and is something I do come across a bit, but never to this level. It literally looked like the whole house was about to crack in half. We recommended that she take care of that foundational issue prior to doing any works on her roof which she did not do. The adjoining house also had a very poor roof state which was also a concern, but at the time was ignored. We also recommended that she get two more quotes from other companies so that she could compare pricing and offerings accordingly which she also did not do. The works that were done were done in two stages and by two separate teams. First the Dutch gable and waterproofing was completed which took two qualified men 4 days and a day of organising materials etc… The second stage was the roof restorations works that needed doing. It was not just a paint job it was a lot more than that. Total amount of time it took to do these works was over a period of 3 weeks including one weekend and with multiple trades. The roof restore was also major job because the ridge tiles and barge tiles were laying loose with holes in her roof everywhere. Not just a paint job at heights with an incredibly awkward two storey roof section, rather a full rebed of sections, full re-point and many many tiles needed replacing and then a roof respray. After the works were completed, total satisfaction was reached, and the works done were solid with a glowing verbal review of the guys communication levels, work ethics and result. I did inform her that movement in her tiled roof was likely due to the state of the foundations being what they were and that if the house was relevelled that likely effects would be visible on the roof afterwards which would likely cause issues. The client, after we finished, contacted my carpenter directly and attempted to undercut us and offer him works. I asked her about this, and she wasn’t happy I did, and we ended the conversation awkwardly. About 9 months later a section of her gutter fell off the side of the house, which she accused us of being responsible for, which was not the case, but we fixed it for her urgently regardless after I sent a team over to scope it out first and then arranged for it to be fixed. The works performed were immaculately done on every level and everything was perfect. A year later after the original works were completed, she contacted me during heavy rain in February 2022 which caused the major flooding everywhere in the Norther Rivers. She contacted us to come and scope out what the new problem was, and we attempted on multiple occasions to go and see what we could see. I will admit that with all the things going on at the time due to the floods it was a bit harder to get a team out to her place immediately. Half of the guys were homeless and struggling on every level, but we were there on five separate occasions regardless with the extreme extra circumstances we had to deal with. These visits occurred over a three-month period to have a look. On 2 occasions the rain was too heavy to safely get up and do anything, but on three separate occasions no one was home, and the door was not open as arranged with her. On our 6th attempt to pop around and assist with her new roofing issue she then informed my team that she no longer wanted us to assist her ever again and wrote this negative review. This is our first in over 10 years of operations. We will no longer do works on homes with foundational problems to ensure this cant happen again!
