After years of draping sheets all over the house to dry during the wet season, we recently starting taking our weekly family load of sheets and towels (2 adults, 2 kids) to the Laundromat in Gray to use a HUGE drier. 30 minutes later and for only $5, our entire load is dry!!!! Nice hot and fluffy!!! Set the drier to go....go and do the weekly shopping....pick up washing on the way home.....DONE!! There's heaps of driers so we never have to wait for one. The instructions are clear on the machines as to how to use them. Darwin Laundries you are a lifesaver!!! We have reclaimed a few hours a week that were usually spent shuffling wet and dry washing around the house during the wet season. Would highly recommend you to other families in Palmerston. A hidden gem.

What about the smell?

We supply you with some odour neutralizing granules to place in the bottom of your bucket at the start of each fill. If odours continue, sprinkle a little on the nappies that are in storage waiting for pick up. We recommend dry storage of soiled nappies. Do not put water in the buckets or store them in water.

When do I get my clean nappies returned?

You will get the same number of nappies returned that we collected the time before . Eg. On Monday we collected 10 nappies on the Thursday we will collect you next dirty batch and return 10 clean ones at the same time. This will keep a weekly stock take and ensure there is no stockpile of nappies in your home.
