Detour Logistics was founded in 2004 by Mr. Colin Beer after buying a truck and subcontracting for Wettenhall’s Interstate. In 2005 he purchased his second truck and joined IFM Logistics carrying general freight and by the end of 2005 had grown the fleet to four prime movers. Since then Detour Logistics fleet has grown to 31 prime movers servicing the Eastern Seaboard. Our proven experience in refrigeration transport logistics has been developed over our 10 years of operation. Detour Logistics is a service solution organisation. Detour Logistics key strengths rest with our underlying business philosophies and with our people. The company takes great pride in servicing with integrity and strives to deliver a strong value proposition to our employees and customers. We specialize in refrigerated freight with Victorian sites in Silvan & Shepparton as well as a Brisbane site in Rocklea. Flexibility is a key to our services. We do have the ability to utilize our existing fleet in each state to meet peak demand and unusual requirements. Detour Logistics operates a diverse fleet of well-maintained company owned refrigerated trailers, kept to stringent specifications. We can assure customers that their goods will arrive at their destination in the right condition, irrespective of distance, transit conditions and consignment size or temperature requirement.
