Hi Karen - Dowdens Pumping & Water Treatment take customer service very seriously, so we were sad to see your 1 Star review relating to the issues you are having with your swimming pool. I have yesterday/today been in discussions with our Pool Servicing Dept. & Retail Sales Manager to ensure you have been given the best possible servicing and advice regarding your pool servicing - here is what I have established: "Dowdens was alerted to staining in your pool 2 weeks after our most recent service was undertaken at your property. We established & confirmed with you that the staining in your pool is a direct result of fresh water overflow (runoff) from an elevated garden bed located directly beside the pool – when fresh water runoff enters your pool water the mineral content oxidises causing the discolouration. Upon initially hearing about these issues we responded immediately and treated the area, together with other stains in your pool, at no additional charge to your existing servicing agreement." After reviewing the facts I feel Dowdens has acted appropriately and has done our very best to alleviate your frustration with the pools ongoing discolouration issues.
